Water quality is essential to all of us – and the quality of our water affects the quality of our lives. Cleveland Water is committed to providing its customers with safe, high-quality drinking water. That is why we maintain a rigorous quality control program and continue to invest substantial financial resources to improve our water treatment facilities and distribution system.

As a member of the Partnership for Safe Water program, we pledge to ensure our water is consistently monitored and tested. The Partnership is a voluntary cooperative effort between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), drinking water professional organizations, and 200 drinking water utilities across the country. The water produced and delivered by Cleveland Water far exceeds the most stringent water quality standards currently mandated by federal and state water regulations, and last year was no exception.

Cleveland Water has continued to significantly enhance the quality of health and life for our customers by meeting the need for safe water in the communities we serve. This year’s 2014 Water Quality Report provides an overview of our water quality during the past year. It also shows the source of your water, how it compares to standards set by regulatory agencies, and how your water is treated and tested.

Paper copies of the report can be requested by calling 216-664-2639 or by viewing and downloading it on our website.
