On Tuesday, Cleveland Water presented its portion of the City of Cleveland’s 2019 proposed budget. Director of Public Utilities Robert Davis and Cleveland Water Commissioner Alex Margevicius’ presentation to Cleveland City Council included an overview of the division, performance metrics, financial statistics, and a review of recently completed and upcoming capital projects.

The budget request focused on continued investment in capital improvements as well as investment in technology to improve service delivery and operational efficiencies.

Cleveland Water operates entirely on revenue from ratepayers rather than tax dollars. We continue to make safe, affordable drinking water a priority. The budget request reflects this by focusing on continued investment in capital improvements as well as investment in technology to improve service delivery and operational efficiencies.
