This year, our water quality experts led the way in developing new and innovative ways to maintain the high quality of our drinking water from lake to tap.

Cleveland Water has received the Gold Award for Exceptional Utility Performance from the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies for outstanding achievement in implementing the nationally recognized Attributes of Effective Utility Management.

The Cleveland Water surge tank along the West Shoreway has been transformed into a dramatic addition to Cleveland’s public art scene. The culmination of almost two years of planning by Cleveland Water and LAND studio, the mural was completed by world-renowned artist Sam3.

Cleveland Water has awarded over $7 million to seven suburban service communities for 15 water main replacement projects. These awards are part of our Suburban Water Main Replacement Program and our $25 million annual investment in buried infrastructure.

We teamed up with Cleveland Fire to streamline the annual flushing and inspection of the city’s 18,000-plus fire hydrants and increase the efficiency with which hydrant issues are reported.

We are proud to announce Cleveland Water’s 2017 Water Quality Report is now available. This annual report provides an overview of our water quality during the past year, including testing results and information.
