This past weekend, Cleveland Water joined numerous local organizations and communities to celebrate # WorldWaterDay. World Water Day is an international day dedicated to celebrating and promoting the sustainable management of freshwater resources.
On Saturday, our Special Events Team celebrated at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, offering numerous hands-on activities to teach the public about the importance of water. Many families stopped by to learn interesting water facts by playing Cleveland Water's #WorldWaterDay hopscotch.
On Sunday, celebrations took place at the Cleveland Metroparks Watershed Stewardship Center at West Creek Reservation. Cleveland Water chemist, Chuck, stopped by and performed a few clean water demonstrations to show the kids how it's done.
We hope you enjoyed #WorldWaterDay as much as we did!
