We know you work hard for your money so we want to be accountable to our customers for every dollar we spend.
Cleveland Water’s rates allow us to make necessary and critical improvements to guarantee our customers a reliable supply of safe, high-quality drinking water. We make these improvements through our Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
Knowing how you use water in your home every day is an essential step in saving water and therefore costs. Equally important is knowing what happens to your money when you pay your water bill every month.
The Cleveland Water surge tank along the West Shoreway has been transformed into a dramatic addition to Cleveland’s public art scene. The culmination of almost two years of planning by Cleveland Water and LAND studio, the mural, titled “Walking on Water,” was completed by world-renowned artist Sam3 earlier this week.
At Cleveland Water, we know what the value of having a reliable supply of safe drinking water means to the 1.4 million customers we serve. As part of our commitment to provide a safe and reliable product, we want to make sure the water you are receiving is of the safest and highest quality. That is why we have created a new online tool that will help us better target existing efforts to proactively address lead in the water distribution system.
To ensure that our customers have the high-quality water they expect delivered when and where they need it, we at Cleveland Water are focusing our Capital Improvement Projects on underground infrastructure. This means investing $26 million a year in capital funds on replacing and renewing aging water mains throughout our service area.
Aside from providing quality drinking water when and where you need it, another important purpose of the Cleveland Water distribution system is to provide essential fire protection to homes and businesses.
