Cleveland Water has awarded almost $7 million for water main replacement projects to ten suburban service communities. These awards are part of its $26 million annual capital investment in buried infrastructure.
Cleveland Water’s $26 million annual capital investment in buried infrastructure not only covers the City of Cleveland but also the suburban cities that we provide direct service to. Water main projects in these cities are funded through the Suburban Water Main Renewal Program.
To ensure that our customers have the high-quality water they expect delivered when and where they need it, we at Cleveland Water are focusing our Capital Improvement Projects on underground infrastructure. This means investing $26 million a year in capital funds on replacing and renewing aging water mains throughout our service area.
