Drinking Water Week
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Cleveland Water Drinking Water Week Open House has been canceled at Crown Water Treatment Plant. The health and well-being of our customers and employees is our top priority. We are closely monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 and are working to safeguard the health of our community.
We remain committed to bringing you safe, reliable drinking water throughout this time.
While this year’s Drinking Water Week open house has been canceled, we invite you to join us next year for a free, guided tour and family-friendly activities. Our Drinking Water Week Open House, usually held the Saturday before Mother’s Day, provides a fun and educational opportunity to learn how water gets from Lake Erie to your home.
Drinking Water Week is an annual celebration, started by the American Water Works Association, for both water professionals and the communities they serve to recognize the vital role water plays in our daily lives.
Our annual Open House, held in recognition of Drinking Water Week, is an opportunity for customers of all ages to explore our state-of-the-art facilities and meet the people who work hard each day to ensure safe, quality drinking water is there for you wherever and whenever you need it.
At the beginning of next year, a Drinking Water Week registration page will be available to sign up for a tour during our Open House. Be sure to check back and sign up for your tour.
