Due to ongoing repairs to a 54-inch main that was shut down earlier this month for emergency repairs, customers in some eastern suburbs may experience water that appears to be slightly cloudy when they turn on their faucet. The water has been tested and is safe to drink. THERE IS NO BOIL ADVISORY IN EFFECT.
The apparent cloudiness is actually caused by extra air being pushed into the water as we work to restore service to the main. The apparent cloudiness should clear up when customers allow the water to sit for a moment as extra air is released from the water.
