On Monday, March 5, Cleveland Water Pollution Control (WPC) contractors will begin emergency sewer main repairs at the intersection of Ontario and Carnegie Avenue. The work will require crews to close the southbound curb lane on Ontario and one of the northbound curbside turning lanes leading onto Carnegie Avenue until repairs are completed. A center southbound lane on Ontario Ave will also be closed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. while crews are working on making the needed repairs.
Cleveland Water Pollution Control (WPC) crews performed an inspection of the sewer main and determined 400 feet of the 36 inch sewer main needed to be replaced. The repair work is scheduled to last for 30 days.
Traffic signs will be posted.
