For October’s Cleveland STEP class, students explored Cleveland Water’s Control Center in Parma.
Here, students saw exactly how operators and engineers move water through 5,300 miles of water mains and over 640 square miles. After their tour, the class participated in an experiment that gave the students firsthand knowledge of the physics hydraulic engineers encounter every day.
