The boil advisory issued yesterday for Cleveland Water customers in parts of Strongsville and Middleburg Heights has been lifted for all customers.
At 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, January 29, Cleveland Water received results from the water samples taken Monday. The results showed NO pathogens were present in any sample. The water is safe to drink and use as normal.
As required by the Ohio EPA, the boil advisory was issued early Monday morning after a main break near our Engle Road pump station caused depressurization in a significant portion of the area in and around portions of Strongsville and Middleburg Heights. Water pressure was restored by mid-day Monday.
Crews continue to work on the Engle Road water transmission main break. The road remains closed between Sheldon and Bagley Roads.
