Are you an educator looking for a fun and unique way to teach students about water? Cleveland Water offers multiple educational programs free of charge to the communities we serve.

H2O Youth Club

Our H2O Youth Club is focused on educating children in grades K-8 about what makes Cleveland Water erie-sistable! We teach students about how water gets from Lake Erie to their homes and the importance of keeping Lake Erie clean.

We also demonstrate the value of having safe, great-tasting drinking water available every day and the importance of staying hydrated. Our knowledgeable speakers are equipped with water-related activities such as Career Bingo, Jeopardy, and Trivia to make the learning experience fun and interactive.

Speakers Bureau

Our Speakers Bureau caters to students in grades 9-12, as well as adults. Presentations are given by our dedicated and knowledgeable staff and are typically an hour long with plenty of time for questions and answers.

A popular presentation for high school students offers information on the many career opportunities available in the water industry and other STEM-related fields. Students are given valuable insight into careers at Cleveland Water, apprenticeship opportunities, and mentoring programs available to foster their career interests.

To schedule a speaker for your class, call Laquania Graham at 216-664-2444 x75332 or complete the online request form at http://www.clevelandwater.com/speakers-bureau-request

Cleveland STEP

The Cleveland Student Technical Enrichment Program (STEP) is a fun, free educational program for 6th through 9th-grade students at any school in the Cleveland Water service area interested in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Students participate in hands-on activities led by STEM professionals, learn what it takes to pursue a career in STEM fields, and meet new friends.

The monthly classes visit and interact with premier Cleveland-area businesses and cultural institutions like NASA, Case Western Reserve University, and the Cleveland Museum of Naural History.

The program is held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. one Saturday of each month from September through April.
