The 2018-19 Cleveland STEP class kicked off this past Saturday at the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District’s (NEORSD) annual open house.
Students and their families began the day with an orientation breakfast that included important information about what to expect in the coming year. Afterward, students and their families were given a tour of NEORSD’s Southerly Wastewater Treatment Plant. The tour gave them a firsthand look at how wastewater is processed and treated before being returned to the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie.
